The market focuses almost exclusively on unprocessed food like fruits, veggies, nuts, and mushrooms, but with some milk, bread and eggs as well. Some of the food like the oranges are grown on site, but not all of it is local. The prices are fantastic. Short of waking up early on the weekend to visit a farmer's market, there's no way you can find better prices on the food they sell. When I visit them, we usually decide it's time to go when the shopping cart is so completely filled with food that we can't even fit any more food in there, and yet we've never spent more than 50 dollars there. Oh and they sell these "jonahgold" apples there that are no doubt the sweetest apples I've ever had.

Here's a pic of all the food we bought last time we were there- an entire carload of produce that ran us a total of 40 bucks. We find that with the prices of everything going through the roof right now, we save a huge amount on groceries buying food here and eating simply fruits, veggies and grains through the day. The amount of food in that pic is enough to last us for a couple weeks.
